About Hawkes Farm
Located in Boneo on the Mornington Peninsula, Hawkes Farm is a family run business growing vegetables and strawberries on our 140 acre property. Our Farmgate Store is open every day of the year (except Christmas Day) and you can find not only our own produce grown here at Hawkes Farm, but a handpicked selection of fresh produce from all over the Mornington Peninsula.
On the weekend, come and try our amazing hand cut, thrice cooked, gluten free hot chips served from our food truck. Or a delicious smoothie or ice cream!
We love sharing our beautiful property with visitors and have a picnic patch to sit in, with a sandpit for the kids. A beautiful old Farmall tractor is parked there too – great for photos of your trip to the farm!
3 time winners for Excellence in Food Tourism in the RACV Victorian Tourism Awards (bronze 2018, gold 2019 and silver 2021), Hawkes Farm is a great place for both tourists and locals to visit and spend some time right where their fresh produce comes from.
The Farmgate Store
At our farmgate store, we sell not only our own product grown here in Boneo, but a wide range of fruit, vegetables and other gourmet products. These include brands such as Johnny Ripe pies, Boatshed Cheese, Mumma Made jams, Little Acre tomatoes , Rye Sourdough bread, Cape Schanck Olive Estate olive oil, Red Hill Truffles truffle products & Fresh Herb Company plants and herbs.
The store also serves up delicious coffee using Little Rebel beans, and cakes supplied by the Hidden Kitchen and Peninsula Pantry. The Farm Kitchen is open on the weekends serving our famous thrice cooked hot chips, of course hand cut from our own potatoes. They’re gluten free – made with just potato, cottonseed oil and salt. We’re also serving ice cream, fruit salad, croque monsieur and other delicious snacks!
Our picnic patch is the perfect place to sit and enjoy your coffee or chips, and the kids will love our sandpit and 1970s Farmall tractor that looks over the space.

And if we can’t get it local, we’ll go a little further afield to make sure you can get all your seasonal products in one place.
